PORTLAND, Ore.— Cannavore head chef Anthony Vespucci is attending Portland’s first ever, sold-out DOPE Cup event on Sunday, October 4th from 6:00pm to midnight at Refuge PDX (116 SE Yamhill Street, Portland, OR 97217). Press passes are available for members of the media. News reporters interested in obtaining complimentary access may contact Shawna at shawna@potencybranding.com before Sunday.
DOPE Cup is a cannabis competition, consumption and industry event for adults who are at least 21 years old. Registration is now closed. Vespucci will be at an outdoor booth shared by Cannavore and TJ’s Organic Gardens, where he’ll talk about the company’s commitment to small-batch cannabis confections and locally sourced ingredients, including TJ’s Organic Gardens’ cannabis oil.
“This is an exciting time for Oregon and for us,” said Vespucci. “We’re looking forward to being a part of this historic event and sharing our passion for edibles that are artfully crafted, properly dosed and, of course, delicious.”
At the booth, attendees can partake in a dab station, bong station and edibles sampling area. In addition to enjoying award-winning organic cannabis, attendees will be able to taste three different types of confections: chocolate caramel kettlecorn, sugar-coated gummies and salted caramel chews.
Recently, writer Brandon Krenzler of DOPE Magazine described Cannavore creations as “the perfect snack for people looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, but also a great choice to help unwind before bed.” He even dubbed Cannavore chocolate caramel kettlecorn as being “off the chain.”
Cannavore products are currently carried by Portland dispensaries Canna Daddy’s, Five Zero Trees and Pure Green. Additional locations include Oregrown in Bend, Talent Health Club in Talent, TLC Medical and 2nd Step Dispensary in Salem, and TJ’s Organic Provisions and Eugene OG in Eugene.
